Is it okay to take BSN’s Atro-phex if i am still pumping and storing breastmilk?
My daughter is almost 6 months old and she is eating oatmeal and some baby food throughout the day already. I have a deep freezer of about 100 storage bags saved up but want to continue to pump. Im wanting to start weightlifting again and get back on my rigid workout regime. Ive taken atrophex before but am a little hesitant to do it while i am still pumping. Do you think my milk will have an effect on my daughter if i begin to take this supplement? I just don’t want it to effect her eating habits. She has had no problems what so ever and is a completely healthy baby.
Depends on what’s in it. I’m assuming more than likely B vitamins, which are fine, but the rest of the additives would probably best be avoided.
I would avoid it if you want to keep feeding your daughter breastmilk. Stick to a multivitamin for your energy and start your supplements after you’re done breastfeeding.
