had surgery, lost everything i gained from lifting. what are best supplements to gain size / strength back?

Gaspari Nutrition, BSN, creatine, NO, Muscle Milk, Superpump, NO xplode, protein. What brands / type of supplements have people had success with, what didnt work at all. I understand everyone is different, but im just trying to gauge what might work well. With some things over 60 dollars a bottle……
to aid with lifting weights again and to gain muscle mass, does anyone have experience with Gaspari Nutrition, BSN, creatine, NO, muscle milk, Superpump, NO xplode, protein. What brands / type of supplements have people had success with, what didnt work at all. I understand everyone is different, but im just trying to gauge what might work well.

Have been lifting for about 11 years now and about 4 years ago, I went for surgery just like you. What worked for me was Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Protein, AST micronised creatine and AST micronised glutamine, a good multi-vitamin and antioxidant. Did not get much out of the NO supplements and they also gave me the runs. IMHO, a good whey protein, creatine, glutamine, multi-vit, antioxidant are sufficient for gaining. Plus a good healthy diet and lots of rest. You don’t need much more than that.
