what is that Protein Powder stuff for?

I have decided to start and work out in order to get defined muscles, and I was told to buy a container of protein powder

like this-http://www.amazon.com/BSN-Ultra-Premium-Sustained-Chocolate-2-91-Pound/dp/B000GP0NSI/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1217399938&sr=8-3

what’s it for and should I use it? Is there a particular one I should buy (the price doesn’t matter)

I was also told something about Creatine as an alternative to it

http://www.amazon.com/BSN-NO-XPLODE-Nitric-Oxide-Creatine-Fruit/dp/B000JWBZUS/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1217399938&sr=8-1

is creatine better or something?

help!

Rhys C is the only one here who knows what they are talking about mate although i wouldnt agree with how he puts them down as if they kill you because thats not true he does understand their purpose though, he is saying that it is for lazy people which is not true, consider this i am a 130lb male and i need to take in atleast 130 grams of protien a day, if i was trying to get that from foods it would be near impossible and i would get fat from the huge amount i had eaten, Whey Protein allows me to get atleast 50g of protein a day from shakes and they arent a big meal either allowing me to eat more. they are perfectly healthy and are the purest form of protein many people put them down because they think they are steroids yet they are 100% natural.

protein is just for healing but is 100% neccesary for muscle growth as if you didnt have enough in your diet your muscle fibres would not grow to their full potential as when you work out you tear your muscles fibres, and protein is needed to regrow this muscle tissue bigger and stronger so if your lacking protein they will heal and not be able to rebuild fully.

i am a bodybuilder and i dont know where i would be if i didnt have whey protein as it contains so much protein with minimal calories which is ideal for someone who doesnt want to get fat but still needs to have a high protein intake. they dont make you unhealthy i am much healthier than most people and i take the stuff all the time they are probably the reason why i am so healthy they are great at strengthening your immune system.

and yes NO-xplode is a great supplement im taking it at the moment and the new AVPT formula contains 4 different types of creatine although they arent specific on how much, when you take it it basically gives you a massive energy boost and improves your concerntration and due to other things in it there are lots of other small advantages such as the fact that it gives you massive pumps and will make worked muscle feel tight.

creatine is useless not worth the time to take all it does it provide your muscles with a readily available energy source which the NO-xplode does anyway and the NO-xplode is less hassle as creatine can be very complicated and it makes you need a number 2 all the time.

Bsn Supplements

My Story: My parents both developed high blood pressure levels by the time they had been 40 or so. All through my grad school, I should say also tested quite high – the instant I hit 190 systolic. Early this summer, I visited the doctor of medicine and they tested me and I was at 160/90. Part of this was “white coat syndrome”, but on my own tests I was averaging about 143/88. In no way good.

All high blood pressure pharmaceuticals have dangerous side effects. Maybe not for all people, and maybe not instantaneously, but I personally see them as being a “last resort”. There’s also the question of whether high blood pressure is harmful, or if it is an indicator of some larger underlying disorder. I assume that it happens to be both.

Whatever the case, I got my blood pressure levels down to a substantially improved level. As i awoke yesterday I tested myself and got 108/80. Midday, I routinely run about 125/82.

Activity wasn’t a sufficient amount of alone, but it helps. Weight training exercise is shown to be effective to hypertension levels, try to be careful to not ever hold your breath if it’s already a good deal too high. Garlic extract and CoQ-10 are most likely one of the best difficulties you can start up with, and solved the problem. Hawthorn extract was useful. Hibiscus tea and celery seemed to be demonstrated that they are useful. Olive leaf is promising, We are going to try that and find out how it goes. There has been a single study that indicated that lycopene might also be of great benefit.

Vitamin D and fish-oil / omega 3s have a worthwhile but minor affect on hypertension levels, but they are extremely worth taking for other health and fitness reasons.

As far as I can tell, you will find no considerable uncomfortable side effects to these, but some of them (like CoQ-10) have rewarding side effects like enhancing gum and heart wellness. Ensure your CoQ-10 is either dissolved in oil or comes with a absorbtion aid, just because the powder is very difficult for the body to absorb. Garlic pills can burn the throat, consider getting a coated or aged one.

Ultimately, I am optimistic that the paleolithic-based meal plan (I consist of dairy) will fix many peoples’ hypertension – I’m hoping to be able to be normotensive without supplements, but we’ll see how that goes. Please remember that in spite of what you may do, blood pressure levels needs a couple of weeks to actually show a difference, so don’t be discouraged if progress is slow.
