What is better for lean Mass Weight gainer? high fat or high carb?

I read from bodybuilding.com that:

“This brings up the question of what you want in the carb/protein/fat ratio. You need carbs to help protein absorption, and you know you need the protein. Fats are definitely your friends in a gainer (though not saturated fat), as they seriously up the calorie content. A general rule of thumb is twice as much protein as fat, and twice as many carbs as protein.”

Bodybuilding.com is not a good source for nutritional information.

Insulin does assist in protein absorption but is not required. In fact, you could take cinnamon for the same results.

Fat is required for protein synthesis. You need saturated fats. They aren’t bad for you. They say they clog your arteries because they are solid at room temperature. They doesn’t make sense.

High carbs will allow you to gain mass, but it’ll be fat. Excessive carb intake forces your liver to make them into triglycerides. That results in high cholesterol.

Don’t count calories. They don’t matter. Eat nothing but meat, eggs, and greens 5 times a day. You’ll lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. Avoid carbs at all costs until you get where you want to be, then consume them sparingly.
