how do i use creatine?
hi im 21 and im into bodybuilding i use protein shakes to maintain muscle mass and eat a balanced high protein medium carb low fat diet , but lately i started using creatine monohydrate im using eas’s phosphagen hp which some of my friends have used and they say its good but the problem is im done with the loading period and i still don’t get any of those results in strength or size{although i drink allot of water for retention} and can you please tell me how do i use it when and should i take it, after all of my workout is done or after my weigh training because i do the weights for 30 minutes then i have my protein and creatine then i do my cardio so am i doing it wrong maybe im using the sugar in my creatine to fuel my cardio and there’s no effect i don’t know so if somebody knows please help
The main effect creatine will have, is adding water weight to your muscles. It will make you look bigger but not get tremendously stronger.
The myth was to do 10g for 1 week then just do 5g 1x a day after that. That is out the window. Just skip the loading phase and take 5g when you wake up in the morning, and then take 5g immediately following your workout. But be sure to drink plenty of water or your muscles will get sore and you will become dehydrated. I would stick with Monohydrate or Kreakylne. Do not use a creatine that is full of sugar, this is just extra calories and carbs in your diet. If you need fuel when you work out, take a pre-workout supplement such as Jack3d or superpump 250. The caffiene and arginine will help you out greatly. Feel free to ask me any more questions.
