Is this a Perfect bodybuiling supplement CYCLE?

Multi Pro 32X Vitamins with Minerals, Higher Power Nutrition Chromium, GNC Fish Oils, Now BCAA’s, Weider Glutamine 3000,Daily Detox, Now ZMA’s, Synth 6 Protien, Humagro, Superdrol NG, and Some Walmart Creatine for now i want to know if i should buy a monohydrated creatine or not?

But all put aside is this a good cycle if not what am i missing or should i change?

throw out the chromium, BCAA, Glutamine, Humagro, and ZMA… they are a waste of money… trust me on this… they are marketing scams.

as for the superdrol… you know that it is a prohormone right? well, actually, it’s a legal steroid (passed some loop holes in the system and they are trying to pull it out of the market), and it’s mythelated (will do a number on your liver). if you are under 21, you are making a decision you will regret later on in life. i don’t want to go into details, cuz it’s a long story, but do yourself a favor and drop the SD until you know what you’re doing and you’re old enough.

walmart creatine is most likely monohydrate because it’s the cheapest there is. look at the nutritional facts and it should tell you what kind it is….

after a 2 second search… walmart creatine is monohydrate.

drop everything, focus on your nutrition and lifting… and please educate yourself in this issue… supplement companies want to make a buck off of you…
i’m a 2 time light heavyweight eastern province champ, and 3rd place light heavy national competitor… the only supps i use are Whey Protein, liquid beef aminos by AAEFX, and a multivitamin from GNC… the rest i get from food… i’ve tried all that stuff you mentioned and i wish i haven’t… cuz the only thing it made big is a hole in my pocket… it’s a waste of money, and SD will hurt you…

What is Spartan Blend?

Introduction

Spartan Blend is an herbal Dietary Supplement for men. It contains a special blend of herbs and minerals, including: Tribulus Terrestris, Arginine, Horny Goat Weed, Zinc (oxide), Niacin, Tongkat Ali, Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa, Cnidium Monieri, Mucuna Pruriens, Guarana Extract, DHEA, Panax Ginseng, Eleutherococcus, Avena Sativa, Saw Palmetto, Rhodiola Rosea, Wild Yam, Maca Root, and Muira Puama. Each of these ingredients was carefully selected for its specific benefits. In this article, we will examine each ingredient, individually, beginning with Tongkat Ali. This article is not intended to provide medical advice, professional diagnosis, opinion, treatment or services to you or to any other individual. Any linkages to other sites, and research citations are for educational purposes only.

Tongkat Ali

An pharmacological study conducted in 2010 on Tongkat Alistated that “The plant [Tongkat Ali] parts have been traditionally used for its anti-malarial, aphrodisiac, anti-diabetic, antimicrobial and antipyretic activities…”1 In 2001, Malaysian researchers stated that “Eurycoma longifolia, commonly known as Tongkat Ali, has gained notoriety as a symbol of man’s ego and strength by the Malaysian men because it increases male virility and sexual prowess during sexual activities.”2 An article on the scientific journal Nature’s Website also stated “increased sexual desire, enhanced performance and general well-being.” 3

Some studies have also found that Tongkat Ali enhances the sexual performance of rodents 4, 5, 6. In an experiment conducted on male rats, it was found that Tongkat Ali increased sperm count. In the same study, the researchers also reported that the plasma testosterone level of Tongkat Ali extract-treated rats “was significantly increased when compared with that of the control [group] and infertile animals.”7 Another group of scientists found that rats that were treated with Tongkat Ali alone exhibited significantly higher sperm counts and sperm motility when compared to the control group. The ” Tongkat Aliextract acts as a potential agent for reversing the effects of estrogen by increasing spermatogenesis and sperm counts in rats after fourteen consecutive days of treatment..”8

Horny Goat Weed

Many different species of Epimedium are alleged to have libido-enhancing effects. The chemical in Epimedium that is responsible for its effects is known as icariin 9. Icariin is believed to work by increasing levels of Nitric Oxide (NO) in the body, which relaxes smooth muscle, and ultimately increases blood flow. Horny Goat Weed has been shown to relax penile tissue in rabbits by nitric oxide and PDE-5 activity.10 Other research has demonstrated that the direct injection of Epimedium extract into the penises of rats caused an increase in penile blood pressure.11

Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa

Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa is a plant that is native to South America and China, and it is purported to help increase blood flow to the penis. It is commonly used as an aphrodisiac. Further research in clinical trials is needed in order to substantiate these effects in humans.

Cnidium Monieri

Cnidium Monieri is a flowering plant in that is native to Eurasia, Africa and North America. The seeds from the plant are used in classical traditional Chinese as an aphrodisiac. This is achieved by Cnidium’s purported ability to boost nitric oxide levels, and help circulation. More research is needed to determine the sexual benefits and/or effects of Cnidium Monieri in humans.

Mucuna Pruriens

Throughout history, Mucuna Pruriens has been used as an aphrodisiac.12, 13 Mucuna is still commonly used to increase libido in both men and women due to its alleged dopamine-inducing properties. Dopamine has a strong effect on sexual function; reduced dopamine has been associated with decreased libido. 40

Guarana

Guarana is a plant that is native to the Amazon basin and is very common in Brazil. Guarana is naturally rich in caffeine. In research involving rats, guarana was shown to increase memory retention and physical endurance, when compared with a placebo group.14

A 2007 human pilot study evaluated the behavioral effects to four doses of varying size guarana extract (37.5 mg, 75 mg, 150 mg and 300 mg) 15. Researchers found that memory, alertness, and mood were increased by the two smallest doses; further substantiating previous research findings that showed memory improvement following the ingestion of 75 mg guarana extract.15

DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone)

According to Dr. William Regelson 16, DHEA supplements can increase libido, and, “just about every adult age forty-five or older can benefit from taking DHEA.”16 Dr. Regelson stated that one of the most frequent comments that he hears from patients, colleagues, and friends, who take DHEA is that it has rejuvenated their sexual desire. It is particularly men that reported this effect to Dr. Regelson from DHEA 16. However, other studies have found a marked increase in women’s libido. 41

Panax Ginseng

In Asia, ginseng is commonly used to treat sexual dysfunction. Recent studies on animals have demonstrated that ginseng enhances libido and sexual performance17. These sexual effects may be due to the effects of ginseng on the central nervous system and gonadal tissues. There is also evidence that ginsenosides can assist with penile erection by inducing vasodilatation and relaxation of penile corpus cavernosum.17 Animal studies have provided further evidence to substantiate the role of nitric oxide in the mechanism of ginsenoside action. 17

Eleutherococcus

Eleutherococcus is purported to enhance immune function, decrease cortisol levels and inflammatory response, and it promotes improved cognitive and physical performance. In human studies, Eleutherococcus has been successfully used to treat headaches, insomnia, and poor appetite.18, 19, 20

Avena Sativa

Avena Sativa, commonly called ‘wild oat’, has been shown to nourish nerves, increase sensation in the genital area, and increase pleasure21. In a study conducted at the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality, men and women both experienced a significant increase in genital sensation and frequency of orgasms following regular supplementation of Avena Sativa.21

Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens)

Saw palmetto extract is commonly taken to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia,22 a common condition in middle-aged and older men. Early research indicates that the extract shows “mild to moderate improvement in urinary symptoms and flow measures”22, 23. Some theories regarding saw palmetto’s mechanism of action include interfering with dihydrotestosterone binding to the androgen receptor, relaxing smooth muscle tissue, and acting as a phytoestrogen.24, 25

Rhodiola Rosea

Studies in cell cultures, animals, and humans have revealed anti-fatigue, anti-stress, antihypoxic, anticancer, antioxidant, immune enhancing and sexual stimulating effects. 26, 27, 28, 29-31 Studies on human subjects 37, 38, 39 showed that Rhodiola Rosea improves physical and mental performance, and that it may reduce fatigue.

Wild Yam (Dioscorea villosa)

Wild yam is traditionally use as an aphrodisiac. It also has a reputation for inducing erotic dreams, when drunk at bedtime. Further research in clinical trials is needed in order to substantiate these effects in humans.

Maca Root (Lepidium meyenii)

Lepidium meyenii, commonly known as maca, is an herbaceous plant native to the high Andes of Peru. Small-scale clinical trials performed in men have shown that maca extracts can heighten libido and improve semen quality. 32, 33

Arginine

Arginine (sometimes referred to as “L-Arginine”) is a precursor of nitric oxide in the human body. Nitric oxide allows blood vessels to dilate, increasing blood flow throughout the body. Increased blood flow may lead to increased size and frequency of erections in males 34, and may also lead to increased sensitivity of clitoral tissues and responsiveness in women.35

Tribulus Terrestris

Tribulus Terrestris is commonly used to increase libido. Its use for this purpose originated from a Bulgarian study conducted in the 1970s, which found effects on free testosterone and luteinizing hormone in men. In animal studies, Tribulus terrestris has been shown to enhance sexual behavior. 36 It appears to achieve these results by stimulating androgen receptors in the brain. However, more research is needed to establish the sexual health benefits of Tribulus Terrestris in humans.

Muira Puama

The root and bark are used for a variety of ailments by indigenous peoples in the Rio Negro area of South America, and have become popular as herbal treatments for sexual dysfunction, but the effectiveness of muira puama preparations are debatable. 42 There is evidence that Muira Puama is anxiogenic, which would be consistent with a stimulant effect, without affecting coordination. 43

Zinc (Oxide)

In a study conducted by the Department of Internal Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine 44, it was found that zinc deficiency significantly lowers testosterone levels. Dietary zinc restriction in young men was discovered to be associated with a significant decrease in serum testosterone concentration prolonged zinc restriction. Researchers concluded that zinc may play an important role in modulating serum testosterone levels in normal men.

Similar results were also found in animal studies. Following a study at the School of Physical Education and Sports at Firat University in Elazig, Turkey, researchers concluded that, “zinc supplementation leads to a significant increase in testosterone levels and a significant decrease in lactate levels. In conclusion, physiological doses of zinc supplementation can be useful for performance.”45
