Muscletech MASSTECH. Need your answer , will choose best answer =]?
ive been taking Muscletech Mass Tech , and i just found out it has 70mg of cholesterol in it…. is that ok? How much scoops & shakes should i take daily??
The product you are using gets 2/3 of its protein from whey (fast digesting) and 1/3 from Milk Protein (slow digesting). Fast digesting whey is the ideal ingredient for immediatly post workout when you need to speed aminos to the muscle. But as a nutritional supplement (like a shake before bed) the slow digesting milk protein is better. Instead of drinking a mix of the two you might try getting both and using them at different times.
The reason your product is high in cholesterol is that it’s main source of protein is whey concentrate (which is cheap), if you get Whey Isolate, you will eliminate most or all of the cholesterol.
I hardly ever buy name brand (nationally advertised brands), because you can almost always find a less advertised brand that is way cheaper with a nutritional profile that is as least as good or better.
bodybuilding.com and dpnnutrition.net are the two best sites and are always cheaper than buying in a retail store, Bodybuilding.com has a cool feature where you can search for a certain type of product and it will show you all the ones they carry and compute the cost per serving.
My advice is go with the ingredients list, nutritional profile, and what’s cheap this month
