is it bad to take too much Echinacea at once? anyone have any tricks to get rid of colds fast?

i have a cold right now and so desperate to get rid of it cuz i hate colds. so im just wondering if its bad to take lots of echinacea at once?? sometimes i feel like pouring half the bottle in with my glass of orange juice to give my immune system a big boost and get rid of my damn cold, lol!

echinacea does nothing IMO I have had great success with zinc and cayenne pepper capsules. I take 2 casules and drink alot of water. It seems to dry up secretions and cold is gone in 2 days in my experience rather than lingering for a week or longer.
