L-Glutamine Is The Most Abundant Amino Acid In The Body

Measuring scoops don’t make sense?

Hi, i have a 25cc scoop with says it equates to 10-12g of dried powder. Now I have a L-glutamine powder that says 1 teaspoon = 5g. If i put 2 teaspoons of glutamine into my 25cc scoop, the scoop is not even near full. Is there a reason why 10g of glutamine occupies so much less space than the standard 10g scoop? How is this possible?

Different materials have different densities.

The scoop measures volume, and grams indicate weight or mass. So you need to know the density of the material from volume to mass. The “10-12g of dried powder” number is just a guess or an average, and cannot apply to all powders.

The number for the glutamine is probably accurate.

But to check, 2 teaspoons = 10 mL = 10 cc, so the scoop will not be half full. For 25cc, you need 5 teaspoons.

The Insider Secrets of Glutamine

To Know More About Glutamine

Have you ever read an article on the effects of glutamine? Perhaps this is the first one, perhaps you are planning on adding it to your muscle building quest. Many people thing that this supplement is necessary to get huge gains and a great pump.

When it comes to no-brainer supplements, supplements that you should be taking all the time Glutamine unfortunately doesn’t make the list. You got Protein Powder, creatine, multi vitamins and fish oil capsules. These are the real powerful supplements. But what about glutamine, where does it stand?

So if you want to stop reading now, I will give you my final conclusion and then I will go over a bit of the info below. Glutamine is an amino acid that is in about 2/3rd of your bodies amino acid. The problem is that your body produced it by itself. Now during time of stress, out glutamine “pool” is depleted and this is when the theory is that it needs to be supplemented. The thing is unless you are a bodybuilder or your body is under some kind of severe stress, your body will make enough of this stuff to replenish. So my recommendation is that unless you are a bodybuilder, or are in some sort of constant state of stressful flux and your body doesn’t get the nutrients it really needs, you should leave this on the shelves of your local supplement store and go with the Natural Creatine and protein powder.

So why have you been told that you need this supplement, simple answer is the supplement companies all own all the magazines, and websites about supplements. This means that they can skew the results to make them show favorable to what ever circumstance they want to. Truthfully, for an above average guy or gal in strength, there is very little effect that glutamine will have on the body. Now if you are an avid bodybuilder, and your muscles are in a constant state of overall depletion then there will be a good reason to glutamine check out for more info http://www.internethealthandfitnessdatabase.com/Workout-Supplements.html
