My homeopathic cure malfunctioned!?
I was trying to cure my priapism so I went to my homeopath and he gave me his most powerful priapism cure.
Unfortunately he must have succussed it too much so the water remembered too far back! At some point this water must have been in contact with dinosaur genetalia because my priapism has now been replaced with triceratops cloaca! I have gone to my chiropractor, ingested thyme and lemon oil, had an ear candling, downed 18 Acai berry pills, and gotten 7 coffee colon cleansings but nothing is working!
Please help, I will try anything at this point!
Dave: I downed about a litre of ACV, and that just gave me diarrhea, and I couldn’t find any medicinal herbs to treat that with so I was forced to eat all the fresh cilantro my wife was going to make dinner with tonight.
Are there any natural cures for a violently angry wife?
Hmmm…as a fully qualified professor of homeopathy (amongst my vast CV I can include a dusty book on the subject from 1895 and a framed certificate I printed off the ‘net) I can easily diagnose the problem even though I’ve never met you.
Firstly, beware of false homeopaths! (I hope you didn’t get this guy’s details from a random website that anyone can contribute to?)
Secondly, it’s clear that your elixir was diluted too much! I’m taking an educated (heh!) guess at maybe 1 part in 100 quadra tetra trillion trillion trillion? When it should have been 1 in 100 quadra tetra trillion trillion! It’s an easy mistake to make, getting your figures out by a trillion, so don’t be too harsh on him.
Thirdly, you haven’t tried apple cider vinegar, had your chakras adjusted or tried distance reiki, never mind collidal silver, sticking needles in yourself or thrashed yourself with herbs.
If none of those work then it’s time to break out the bad boy: Yep, smoky quartz crystal, held firmly against your forehead (after recharging in moonlight obviously!) If crystal healing can’t help you then you’re as good as dead.
At least you didn’t give a couple of $$ to the Big Pharma monster eh? That’ll show ‘em!
The Advantages of Oil of Oregano
Oil of oregano is extracted from oregano shrubs and contains carvacrol and thymol, the two substances with powerful antiviral properties. There are nearly 200 products listed in the Natural Medicines Comprehensive Database containing oil of oregano. It is useful for a wide variety of practices as a natural remedy, along with its overall health benefits.
Oregano is sought for as a natural remedy for breathing conditions and coughs because of asthma, croup, and respiratory disease. It may also be used for warding off urinary tract infections and intestinal parasitic organisms. Additionally, oregano oil can be used topically for acne, athlete’s foot, dermititis, bug bites, canker sores, and warts. Oregano is also shown to be powerful at treating and avoiding sinus infections. This is largely because of the natural antiviral properties of oil of oregano.
As a supplement, oil of oregano helps in boosting the immune system and fighting off infection as well as chronic inflammation, such as arthritis. Because oil of oregano is available as both an oil and a capsule, the uses and advantages of oregano are two-fold. When ingested, it can provide the health advantages stated previously, as well as aid in digestion. It can also relieve an upset stomach and defend against congestion and a sore throat caused by the common cold. When used topically, oil of oregano can relieve numerous skin conditions.
Used by mouth or topically, oregano is natural and safe to apply to the skin, gums, and teeth, as well as to eat. As a topical treatment, oil of oregano may need to be diluted with another oil before application so be sure to look into the product label. Oil of oregano may also be added to hair shampoos or mouthwash. Topical application benefits contain treatment of dandruff, itching, ringworm, athlete’s foot, acne, and blue veins.
As well as the numerous health benefits oregano presents, it is an useful spice for cooking. The spice is usually produced by a different species of oregano than the oil and shouldn’t be confused with oil of oregano or oregano dietary supplements. Primarily, as a spice, oregano is cherished for its aromatic properties and frequently used to season Greek and Italian foods. It is often used in conjunction with garlic clove, basil, and thyme.
Oil of oregano can be taken as a supplement. As a supplement, it can be taken in capsule form or ingested as an emulsified oil which is often added by the drop to milk, juice, or tea. Adding just 2 to 3 drops of oregano oil to juice or milk can help heal an upset stomach and aid in digestive health. While oregano is a natural substance, there is always a potential of side effects or interactions with any substance. Little has been identified about side effects of oregano, with the exception that it may hinder the absorption of iron and may lower blood glucose. However, other than potential allergies to oregano, historical use has demonstrated that oregano is well accepted in recommended doses.
Diabetics must avoid using oregano oil without first asking their doctor or nutritionist. Oregano could also produce anti-thrombin effects which could potentially cause an connection with anticoagulants. If you are taking blood thinners, have a history of thrombosis, or are taking medication for high blood pressure, talk to your physician before taking oregano or any other natural supplement. Expecting mothers and women who are nursing should not take oregano dietary supplements or use oil of oregano without first asking their doctor.
Because of the many health benefits of oregano, both as a supplement, a natural remedy to numerous common complaints, and as a topical remedy for a variety of skin conditions, it is a highly sought herb. Obtainable in capsule and oil form, the oil may be prove more different in its benefits since it can be utilized in all manners, including orally and topically. If you would like know if oregano would be of benefit to you, talk to a nutritional expert or herbalist to learn more about the use and advantages of oregano.
