Is Optimum Nutrition a good supplement brand?
Ive heard alot of people at work who are into bodybuilding refer to Optimum nutrition for their supplementation. Is it a pretty reliable source?
Im thinking of getting some Tribulus by ON. I’m 22,I probably already have enough testosterone, but Ive done my homework and it seems it could really help as far as a boost besides whey and amino supplements.
Have you taken Tribulus, and seen any negative side effects?
Also,I’ve been prescribed Hydrocodone 10/325′s for about a year from a back injury last year,is it safe to take while on the pain meds 3x a day?
thanks,please no criticism
ON is a good company. I have used their protein which is ok, I prefer Gaspari but their multi-vitmins are great. I use Tribulus 3x per day and prefer the company NOW. Tribulus is Tribulus so I don’t think it matters but think about using L-Arginine too. It is just different BCAA’s of protein. Tribulus should be to take with your prescription. There are no negative side effects.
Necessity of dog nutrition
Nutritional Needs of Dogs
Necessity for Dog Nutrition is to provide your dog the right amount of protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, and minerals that is necessary to acquire optimum health. To survive and reproduce all mammals require food composed of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. Basic nutrition for dogs shouldn’t be so complicated. The three types of nutritional food that you can choose for your dog are canned foods, semi-moist foods, and dry foods. A thoughtful approach to nutrition is the foundation of wellbeing. Food that’s appropriate for all life stages contains extra nutrients needed for growth. Whether you’re training or simply maintaining their health, remember to include their wet, dry and treat food in your dietary considerations. Dogs cannot survive without protein in their diets. Dietary protein contains 10 specific amino acids that dogs cannot make on their own. Known as essential amino acids, they provide the building blocks for many important biologically active compounds and proteins. In addition, they donate the carbon chains needed to make glucose for energy. High-quality proteins have a good balance of all of the essential amino acids.
Why Energy Required?
Dogs need a certain amount of energy to sustain the normal activities of their daily lives. Growth, pregnancy, lactation, and exercise all increase these normal energy requirements. Generally measured in terms of calories, energy comes from three major dietary components: carbohydrates, protein, and fats. Dogs can benefit from taking supplements as well as human. Studies show that dogs can tell when their food lacks a single amino acid and will avoid such a meal. Dogs are known to selectively choose foods that are high in protein. Whether this is simply a matter of taste or a complex response to their biological needs for all 10 essential amino acids is not known. However, dogs can survive on a vegetarian diet as long as it contains sufficient protein and is supplemented with vitamin D.
Nutritional Food Benefits
Dogs can make hundreds of amino acids internally, but eleven must be preformed outside the dog and then consumed in the diet. Numerous fats and oils are present in a variety of plant and animal food sources. Dogs can manufacture many lipids internally but have a need for a few to be ingested in the diet. Every cell in your dog’s body is at the mercy of your choices of dog food. Feeding your dog a brand of pet food that is natural and high in vitamins and nutrients play a large part in maintaining your dog’s overall health.
Proper Dog’s Nutrition Diet is the combination of following supplements:
Carbohydrates
Vitamins
Minerals
Proteins
For dogs Proteins are the building blocks of the body which must be supplied in their food. B Complex Vitamins are Thiamin (B1) Niacin Riboflavin (B2) Pantothenic acid Pyridoxine (B6) Biotin VitaminB12 CholinFolic acid Inositol. Every dog is unique in his nutritional needs. Ask your veterinarian to recommend foods that optimize his health and quality of life.
