USANA Nutritional Supplements and Sports Performance
Are nutritional supplements necessary for an athlete’s optimum performance?
Nutritional supplements are used by athletes worldwide. Commonwealth Games silver medallist and decathlete champion Brent Newdick trusts his health to USANA nutritional supplements. He has been taking USANA products since December 2009.
A young achiever, Brent at only 25 years, understands the role nutrition plays. He says, “I have been using USANA’s Rev3 Energy Surge during my decathlon events for sustained energy and better recovery.”
Poor eating habits limit performance and contribute to fatigue, inability to recover quickly, lack of focus, and lack of sustained energy. A sports nutrition program is important for any athlete’s overall health. By creating good nutrition habits early on, athletes develop an advantage not only in sports but also other areas in life.
USANA Health Sciences is the exclusive provider of nutritional supplements for Brent Newdick. “We are thrilled that Brent continues to benefit from USANA’s nutritional products. Our partnership with Brent is a true testament to the quality of USANA products,” says Gill Stapleton, General Manager, USANA Australia and New Zealand.
Newdick is one of many professional athletes worldwide who trust USANA’s high quality nutritional products.
Since 2009, Brent has celebrated a series of achievements, including:
- Finalist for NZ Maori sports awards: Senior sportsman – Brent Newdick (Tainui), 2010
- Silver medallist Commonwealth Games, 2010
- New Zealand Champion in Long Jump, Pole Vault, Triple Jump and Decathlon
- Personal Best times at Fortuna Combined events, Czech Republic, 2010
- Gold, Australian Commonwealth Games Selection Trials, 2009
- Ranked No. 1 at the Australian Open Track & Field Championships, 2009
- Silver medal, World University Games in Belgrade, Serbia, 2009
- Competed at the World Athletic Championships in Berlin, Germany, 2009
Newdick takes USANA HealthPak, CoQuinone 100, BiOmega III, Chocolate Fusion Nutrition Bars, and Rev3 Energy Surge.
