My 13 yr old daughter wants to come live with me because my ex wife leaves her alone all the time.?
I have joint legal and physical custody now of my three children (6, 9, 13), but have gone broke paying for attorneys and from missing work. The visitation arrangement is still being contested by me and I am now representing myself. My daughter is left to care for her two younger siblings (one of whom has type one diabetes) most of the time when in the care of their mother, and she is very unhappy. The court won’t even listen to her. (I live in Michigan). They are pro equal parenting time which is good, but my ex-wife is not being a responsible parent. I need the court to see and understand how unhappy my daughter is and how much she wants to live with me…
