9 week old german shepherd puppie eating stool/poop?
My dog is around 9 weeks of age, a very nice german shepherd pure breed, with champion lines. its 9 weeks old and when it poops in the house(rarely) it eats its own stool. how can i stop this is it due to low nutrition? im feeding him eukanuba large breed puppie food.
Thanks ive been teaching him comands like leave it and drop it too, he’s starting to know them also he does good at going outside to use the bathroom just has accidents at times. thanks for the responses.
He’s doing it because he’s a young puppy and its something a good many of them do. Some do it because they’ve gotten in trouble for having accidents in the house (the best reason to housetrain correctly) and they’re desperately trying to get rid of the evidence. Or they just do it because its there. The good news is almost all dogs grow out of it.
But in the meantime, don’t give him the opportunity. Also, all dogs need to learn the commands “leave it” and “drop it”. He’s not too young for you to begin teaching them. Its got nothing to do with nutrition – though Eukanuba isn’t a good brand. Just read the list of ingredients.
A Ring Warrior’s Fight Diet
A good fight diet, together with proper training, is important for mixed martial art fighters to stay in their best shape. For martial arts champions, diet plays the essential role of keeping them healthy and always ready to battle.
Fight diet is a nutrition program that helps them keep an enduring performance, improve on their fighting style, lessen the chance of illness, manage their weight, and hasten recovery. And for this reasons and goals, their diet should be drawn according to the recommended ratios of particular food groups. So, what are these food stuffs that comprise this vital and demanding kind of nutrition program?
At best, martial arts is an intense physical activity which requires MMA fighters to also maintain a high level of energy. They need to consume food that may provide the strength and power to deliver that heavy blow and last for several rounds of pure brawling action. Foods rich in carbohydrates are a good source of energy and have low fat content. It gives more energy than fat for every oxygen unit consumed. A fight diet requires enough amounts of carbohydrates stored in the body, as it slowly releases energy for a period of time to increase the fighter’s stamina.
Although an uncontrolled intake of fats is troublesome in managing a mixed martial artist’s weight, it is still a huge requirement for a fighter’s diet. It is the fuel that keeps an athlete going. For prolonged periods of training, exercise and fight, the body may use up mostly fats for energy. It can contribute an approximate of 80 percent on the energy demand and expenditure. Also some good fats absorb the necessary vitamins taken into the body.
Protein also provides an extra pack of energy, though the main benefit for its intake is muscle development and faster recovery. It serves as the first line of defense in the fight diet. While training, exercise and a good rest are the real muscle builders, protein works to promote an increase in muscle growth. It is helps repair small torn muscles and prevents long lasting damage on them.
Excessive protein intake may result to dehydration which can sap the energy and make you feel sore and tired. That is when water comes in handy for the fight diet. It is always important for replenishment. Mixed martial artists should keep themselves hydrated to replace lost fluids by drinking water. It helps a fighter to feel refreshed and aids to lower body temperature.
The fight diet includes a variety of food and vitamin and minerals supplements that reinforce them. Vitamins and minerals gas up the performance. B vitamins for example, produce energy from fuel sources in the diet ensuring that every food in the nutrition program is maximized. Some other minerals like calcium are adequately needed to maintain good bone density, strength and structure.
A fight diet is only one of the components of being a champion ring warrior. It does not replace or fill up for the physical activities necessary for a fighter. Becoming one requires intensive training and conditioning while optimal nutrition is essential for peak performance. With all these considered, a title belt is just a grab away.
