Do you understand what’s really going on with BO’s health insurance bill?

I’m reading the responses from people that think this bill is good for the insurance companies. You don’t get it, let me explain.
1. The bill REQUIRES everyone to have health insurance. But the penalty is only $325 per year for not having it. That’s less than one months premium.
2. The bill does not allow insurance companies to deny coverage for a preexisting condition. If you pay the $325 fine each year (that any prudent person would do) and wait until something catastrophic happens to you, the insurance “company” cannot disallow you.
3. Because these idiotic rules will result in INSURANCE INCREASES for those who do buy insurance through their employers, the employers will drop health insurance plans and let folks buy from the government.

Dennis Kucinich is the one claiming it is good for the Health Insurance Companies, because he wants a single payer system, the bottom line is it is bad for Americans no matter how you look at it, we all will be paying for 30 million people who haven’t paid for their insurance.
